Proper washing and waxing

We all know that our vehicle needs to be clean as we use them, just as our body needs a bath. Not cleaning our vehicles might lead to corrosion damage to our panels and paint works. Here are some steps on how to properly wash your vehicles. This includes how to prep the paint before waxing.
Things needed:
- 2 bucket
- Pressure washer or garden hose
- 2 wash mitts
- Car shampoo
- brush
- Drying towel either chamois or waffle weaves towels
- Clay bar and quick detailer
- Mf towel
- Polishing Compound
- Wax / Sealant
- Leaf blower
- Tire black

1. Clean the wheels and wheel well with car shampoo and brush then rinse.
2. Prepare your 2 buckets, 1 with pure water and the other with car shampoo
3. Use the first wash mitts to clean the top of the vehicle. You can do this by panel and make sure to rinse it from time to time with the 2nd bucket with clean water then dip it again in the bucket with fresh shampoo.
4. Use the other wash mitt to clean the lower part of the vehicle. Take note to use only the specific mitts on the specific area of the vehicle and never interchange using it.
5. Rinse the vehicle completely, it would be helpful to dry the vehicle to flood the panels with water, this is called water sheeting.
6. Dry the vehicle with the use of chamois or waffle weave cloth and make sure to completely dry it. Use the leaf blower to remove water from cracks and hard to reach areas.
7. Clay the vehicle. Make sure to use a quick detailer to lube the panel and the clay to avoid streaking.
8. Rinse again the vehicle.
9. Apply polishing compound by panel. It can be done either by hand or by a polishing machine.
10. Apply your favorite wax/ sealant then buff to shine with a mf towel.
11. Polish your wheels then apply tire black.
12. Spray the vehicle with quick detailer then buff again for a show car shine.
We recommend washing your vehicle once a week. After the washing process, spray the vehicle with quick detailer or spray wax. For claying it is recommended to do it semi-annually and waxing and polishing once a month or as needed.
We hope that is article will help out all enthusiast and also regular user to clean and protect their vehicles.
